There are few things that can “dampen” spirits when there is a wedding afoot. However, when a hurricane gets thrown into the mix, that changes things. Kyle and Lindsey had a simple, beautiful plan. Wedding on the beach at Bald Head Island, reception at the beach house. With weather impending, Kyle’s mom Carol snapped into action! She crafted a new plan that moved the wedding ceremony up to the house and the reception to the Bald Head Association Center. As the week went on and the weather forecast grew more bleak, Carole sprung into action once more. The ceremony was then moved to the beautiful Bald Head Island Chapel and the reception was still to be at the association center. Now with a solid plan, Carol also handled all of the floral arrangements for the event and awaited the arrival of family and friends. Then there was the small matter of the ferry. There was some fear of the winds from the impending HURRICANE exceeding the maximum safe speeds for the ferry to operate. Thankfully, there were no such complications. All guests arrived safely on the island and the event went over like a charm! After their ceremony and introductions, the couple danced their first dance together to “Ocean” by Hannah-McEuen. All those in attendance enjoyed wonderful food provided by The Market and each table w donned with its own cake prepared by Bobby Blackmon. With Annie Liles capturing the festivities, I’m sure that the couple will have excellent images with which to remember their day. I am quite certain that some of those images will showcase the couples vintage theme that included individual antique place settings and tables named with traditional southern terms of endearment including “Dear” , “Honeybunch” and the like. We at DJ Professionals and Video were happy to provide the entertainment for the couple and wish them many years of happiness.

Mr. & Mrs. Luis Baltierrez
The RiverRoom is always a beautiful place to have an event. From the incredible view to the professional staff, you just can’t go wrong. RiverRoom event planner, Melissa Mendoza is a pleasure to work with and extremely detail oriented. Her ability to make things happen in a smooth and timely manner is unparalleled. With flowers provided by Moxie Floral Design Studio and DJ Professionals and Video providing the entertainment, the new Mr. & Mrs. Luis & Linnsey Baltierrez had a true “A-Team”! A family friend provided food for the event and it was fantastic! The couple held their ceremony on the deck outside The RiverRoom and moved inside for their reception. Overlooking the beautiful Cape Fear River, the happy couple and their guests enjoyed a relaxing night of food, fellowship and of course great music. We wish the new Mr. & Mrs. Baltierrez all the best and extend them many thanks for allowing us to be a part of their special day.
Jonathan and Brittany Griffiin
What a beautiful day on Bald Head Island for the wedding of Jonathan Griffin and Brittany Cole. The weather was truly perfect. At the end of Bald Head Island is a place called “The Shoals Club”. If you have never had the opportunity to take in the breathtaking scenery at The Shoals Club, it should be on your list of things to do in the near future! From the back of the club, you have a 180 degree view of the Atlantic Ocean and on a day like this one, it is simply breathtaking.
Brittany and Jonathan had their ceremony at the chapel on the island, another of its many gorgeous settings. With the ceremony completed, they proceeded to have picures and video taken on the beach. Pictures were captured by the ever talented Anne McGowan and videography services were provided by our own Brick Street Cinemas. The couple then gathered their bridal party and after a quick line up proceeded to have each couple dance in to their own music! These guys definitely came to have a good time! With dances, dinner and some heart wrencing toasts out of the way, we started their dance party. Not only did the couple stay on the dance floor all night, but their guests were right there with them! It was truly a pleasure to be chosen to provide DJ services for the new Mr. & Mrs. Jonathan and Brittany Griffiin. We here with DJ Professionals & Video and Brick Street Cinemas wish them a long and prosperous new marriage.
Brian and Sarah Blake
DJ Professionals & Video had the pleasure of providing DJ services for newlyweds Brian and Sarah Blake at The Balcony on Dock Street. Jenn Rayle and the team at The Balcony on Dock Street did an amazing job setting up the room with black tablecloths and pink napkins for the couple’s 150 plus guests. The girls at Moxie Floral Design Studio out did themselves yet again with amazing arrangements all around the room while Jacki and Angie of Baca Photography captured all of the great memories throughout the evening. With an A-Team like this it should come to no surprise that The Three Divas provided a cake so stunning to look at you almost didn’t want to cut into it…almost. Every couple is unique and this couple was no different. The newlyweds were introduced to their guests to Michael Jacksons “The Way You Make Me Feel” followed by their first dance set to Stevie Wonders “My Cherie Amor”. It was truly a great evening and on behalf of everyone here at DJ Professionals & Video I thank Brian and Sarah for allowing us to be a part of their special day and wish them a lifetime of laughter and love.
Dave and Ellen Dibble
We at DJ Professionals & Video were honored to take part in Dave and Ellen Dibble’s glorious wedding day. The festivities began on the 3rd deck of the Henrietta III as the couple said their I Do’s while coasting down the Cape Fear River. Lisa from Bella Rose Photography was there to capture all of their amazing moments. Immediately following the ceremony the crowd came downstairs to the 2nd deck where the party really got going. It truly was a beautiful wedding and the reception rocked! Thanks to Dave and Ellen for allowing DJ Professionals & Video to help make their special day one they will remember forever.
Joy and Michael Miller
What a pleasure it was to DJ the wedding of Joy and Michael Miller. The ceremony was held at Port City Community Church and was followed by a reception at the Bradley Creek Marina. The setting was beautiful. There were tables set up outdoors overlooking the marina and Middle of the Island Catering provided a buffet style dinner and as always the food was to die for. The cake was provided by Apple Annie’s Bake Shop and was gorgeous. After dinner many of the guests made their way to the photo booth provided by DJ Professionals and Video while the groomsmen all changed into tuxedo t-shirts and had a little surprise dance for the couple set to LMFAO’s “I’m Sexy and I Know It”. They certainly got the crowd laughing and further set the tone for a fun filled evening. Chris Lang Photography was there to capture every moment and I am certain got not only some beautiful shots of the venue and décor but also the Soul Train style dance that quickly formed on the dance floor. Sarah Coe and Olivia Prevatt were the wedding coordinators and kept everything flowing with ease. By the end of the night the couple wasn’t ready for the fun to end so we kept it going for an extra half hour at their request. After saying their goodbyes and thanking their guests the happy couple was sent off under a tunnel of sparklers leading to their limo provided by A&K Limousine Service. On behalf of everyone at DJ Professionals and Video I want to thank Mike and Joy for allowing us to be a part of your amazing day.
Gail & Brandon Graham
It was an honor and privilege to help make Gail and Brandon’s wedding reception a night full of fun, romance, love, and dancing! The Balcony on Dock Street was the venue they chose and Verzaal’s Florist helped bring the room to life with an amazing combination of candles, table settings, and floral arrangements accented with the colors of spring. The newlyweds began the night with their first dance to the tune of “Not Fire, Not Ice” by Ben Harper. The guests appeared joyous and excited as they watched the happy couple share the dance floor for the first time as Mr. and Mrs. Graham. Dinner soon followed with a wonderful meal provided by The Balcony on Dock Street. Shortly thereafter, it was time to cut the wedding cake and fill the dance floor. We wish Mr. and Mrs. Graham a wonderful new life together and nothing but the best in all of their future endeavors. Thank you for choosing DJ Professionals and Video to help make your special day everything you had dreamed it would be!

Steven + Gail Coston party/reception at Embassy Suites in Cary
What a great time we had at the Embassy Suites in Cary on June 2nd 2012. Steven and Gail hosted a party and reception several weeks after their ceremony in Rodanthe on the Outer Banks. Dj Professionals was the referred Dj company, and we had a wonderful night. The couple continued their beach theme wedding with flowered shirts, dresses and attire. The hotel chief was in charge of some great o’dourves including great meatballs being passed. DJ- Patrick Pake started the night according to their plans with a beachy theme and classic rock and pop from the 70′s. Later in the night after a “good luck dance” with everybody on the floor, the dancing began with mostly rock and funk hits.
Everyone enjoyed the night and still 1/3 of the guests were still there when the lights came up! Thanks again for entrusting DJ Professionals and Video and the best of luck to Steven and Gail in their new lives together.

“DJ Mighty Quinn’ was challenged with providing two separate systems of sound and music at the Drew wedding at The Islander Hotel and Suites on Emerald Isle NC
“DJ Mighty Quinn” was challenged with providing two separate systems of sound and music at the Drew wedding at The Islander Hotel and Suites on Emerald Isle NC..
The ceremony was set up with a battery powered speaker and digital music source and a microphone for the pastor and bride and groom. this was set up right on the beach with steel drum music playing for seating…. This actually entertained all the beach-goers around for almost 30 minutes. The bride , Jessica, had requested “Jessica” ( her grandmothers name as well) by the Allman Brothers to be played for the entire 7.5 minutes as the whole wedding party made it’s way, barefoot, to the tiki hut setting…. Then the beautiful bride was escorted by her father to the beach as “A Moment Like This” by Kelly Clarkson was played….
They made a very symbolic gesture, as bride and groom, filling a photo frame with multi colored sand signifying the union of families…
After the ceremony the bridal party stayed on the beach for photos and everyone else went to the cocktail party in the tent on the grounds of the hotel. This was an entirely different set up in a tent with LED lights for dancing and lighting the tent top for mood.
Great mix of country and rock and oldies for the crowd for dinner and cocktail hour…
Next was a great dinner catered by Walter Hancock.
The event was flawlessly planned and ran by event coordinators Katy and Kelly and Chelsea Donovan.
Then came the fun parts. The father / daughter dance … the groom / mother dance and the ceremonial chicken dance… Music was mixed till 1030 and everyone had a great time ending it in a 65 person, attached at the hips, through the entire hotel grounds, “Party Train” by the Gap Band. then back to the dance floor for a sing along of I got friends in low places.
For “DJ MIGHTY QUINN” it was…. A great family event and lots of fun….
