Anna Guilfoil and Ronald Torgeson were married July 3, 2010 at the Bela Luna Restaurant on North Topsail Island the day before the 4th of July. What an incredible spot to tie the knot for these two on such a beautiful day with the weather that was just perfect. The wedding ceremony service was held outside by the pool overlooking the Atlantic Ocean under a tent that made for a perfect outside ceremony setting. After the ceremony the reception followed outside with introductions, first dances, dinner and all traditional events that were very pleasant due to perfect July weather. Ray Baca Photography did an amazing job taking pictures and helping with the coordination of the events the entire day. The food was prepared and served by the staff at the Bella Luna Restaurant in which was fabulous I might add. The night just seemed to flow perfectly for these two that were finally officially husband and wife after being legally married for some time but needed a most memorable and enjoyable experience to remember! Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Ronald and Anna Torgeson. Thank you again for letting DJ Professionals and Video be a part of an incredible day.
Lindsay Johnson and Samuel Grady Orr were married on Saturday April 24, 2010 at the Monteray Shores Dock in Corolla, N.C. The Monteray Shores Dock with a gazebo at the end was a beautiful spot for Lindsay and Grady to tie the knot! It was a pleasure working with such a great laid back couple that I truly became to like very quickly. Resting neatly off the Outer Banks right on the Currituck Sound was their ceremony at the end of the dock. DJ Professionals and Video provided the beach ceremony battery driven system to do the ceremony while Matt Lusk and co-worker did the photography. The view of the sound with the tranquil waters and a soothing breeze made this wedding very enjoyable from start to finish.
After the ceremony, the party was moved over to the reception house over looking the Currituck Sound where we gathered for cocktail hr. George Wainwright with DJ Professionals and Video did the introductions for the wedding party. When the couple was introduced for the very first time as the new Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Grady Orr they came down from the top balcony to the area where the rest of the wedding party awaited and lit the place up! We quickly went into having dinner so that Lindsay and Grady could enjoy a fun filled night with family and friends and of course – lots of dancing!
After dinner, the couple was introduced out on the dance floor by the water over looking the Currituck sound for their first dance to “then” by Brad Paisley. As soon as the first dance was over we went ahead and did the father/daughter dance to “the way you look tonight” Joey McIntire. Nice Choice! The mother/son dance was then introduced for Grady and his mother Brenda Orr with “my wish” Rascall Flatts.
When the first dances were complete the guests and friends were ready to dance and the rest of the night went great. Thank you for letting us be a part of your special day!
Saturday night was one of the most unique weddings we have ever hosted for a bride & groom. First and foremost, doing a wedding at the beginning of the new year was a great way to kick things off for all of us. This particular reception was absolutely beautiful for newlyweds Elizabeth Lancaster and Jacob Mewborn. The reception was held inside the ball room of the Walnut Creek Country Club with a winter wonderland theme introduced for the very first time by Elizabeth and Jacob. Judy Haley with Total Package Events and DJ Professionals and Video teamed up to introduce the design. Judy Haley provided several beautiful fig trees throughout the room to provide a certain look for the winter wonderland theme. DJ Professionals and Video added our special effect lighting to enhance with the decor’ in bathing the room with multiple color wash lights to create that special winter wonderland theme. The bride & groom were escorted by limousine and arrived on site at the front side of the club at 7:30 p.m. for their introductions. The couple was introduced into the main room where they had their first dance to “Unforgettable” by Nat King Cole with entire wedding party involved on dance floor. DJ/MC George Wainwright kept everything moving at all times with all the right music and made announcements as needed. A very elegant Dinner was catered by the Walnut Creek Country Club staff with mouth watering prime rib and several other great fixin’s. A very special dance took place after dinner between the bride and her father Mr. Lancaster to “What a wonderful world” by Louis Armstrong. After the father/daughter dance the DJ got the party started with the “Electric Slide” then rolled right into the “Cupid Shuffle” to keep the room moving. We have to say there was definitely a “Good Luck Dance” that was introduced by our DJ for Elizabeth and Jacob that got everybody out on the floor with “Have I told you lately” by Rod Stewart. After rockin’ the dance floor for a while Judy Haley had us bring things straight on over to the cake table for a wonderful cake cutting ceremony. Toasts were then given right after the cake cutting by the best man and maids of honor for Elizabeth and Jacob. Soon came the traditional bouquet and garter toss in the center of the dance floor of main room. Bride & Groom enjoyed a last dance and made their final exit back to the limousine to take off to the Raleigh airport for a week of time together to enjoy being married at last.
