Rick and Gabby Hunte – 1/21/2013 – Officers Club-Camp Lejune

Aside

What a way to start of the New Year!- With a bang!

Two wonderful people-Rick and Gabby tied the proverbeal knot On Saturday at The Officers club in Jacksonville. DJ Professionals provided the ceremony equipment and wireless mics and all the ceremony music. Gabby looked wonderful in a b eautiful ruffled white wedding dress. Major Rick wore his dress blues and if he smiled any bigger he would have hurt himself!

DJ “PK”-Patrick Pake- Set things off right way at the reception. After the wedding party was introduced-even they were dancing- , the guests started dancing in the cocktails and dinner times!

So after dinner and special Father daughter dance, and Rick danced with his Sister, They house started rocking! A few old hits were the grooms request at first-Dazz band, BBD, Sister sledge, then the Wooble. Later pitbull, enrique and the Cupid shuffle packed it in. Although- The New Yorkers and Guests fooded the floor for “Living on a Prayer”

What a great night! Great job by Anita and Beth and the staff at the officers club.

Castle Branch Christmas Party

Nick the DJ with DJ Professionals and Video had the opportunity to be a part of the annual Christmas Party for Castle Branch for the second year in a row! These guys came to have a good time! After dinner was served and the door prizes were given away, the lights went down and the REAL party started! The dance floor was packed and the crowd danced until the last beat of the last song! This is a great group of people that know how to have fun. Being requested to return to a party by the folks in attendance is always a good thing! Having been at the party last year, it lends to developing a relationship with the people in attendance. Nick was able to cater to them due to his prior experience with the crowd. In the interest of not indicating anyone in potentially illegal activities, we have refrained from adding pictures. ;-) Thanks again, Castle Branch! We can’t wait for next year!

DJ Professionals Pinehurst

Aside

December proved to be a month of celebration for DJ Professionals & Video of Pinehurst, NC! The weekend of the 9th was jam packed! Friday night started off with Nick the DJ entertaining some of the troops from Fort Bragg for their annual holiday party. With over 200 people in attendance, the evening began with formalities that included their color guard who did an amazing job opening and closing the formal ceremony. Dinner was AMAZING and the lone table set for soldiers who are missing in action and prisoners of war was a fitting tribute to those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our nation as well as those who withstood the horrors of war to afford us the luxuries we generally take for granted. With the formalities out of the way, the Lieutenant Colonel turned the night over to Nick. He assisted by issuing a “Formal Order” to adhere to the direction of the DJ! With that, Nick took the opportunity to get EVERYONE up and dancing! The party was an absolute blast! There was even the opportunity for Nick to give dance instruction to a decorated war hero…..Our ladies and gentlemen in uniform are always a pleasure to entertain.

New Years Eve wedding and party at Marston Pavillion, Jacksonville 12/31/2011

DJ Vinny G updating our blog about the New Year’s Eve wedding party that we had at Marston Pavilion on Camp Lejeune.

dancing in Jacksonville djColette and Richard Bermudez along with the bridal attendants were introduced as soon as the reception started to “Sexy and I Know It” by LMFAO, and everyone partied on their way down the middle. I think the best moment was Richard doing the “sprinkler.” Colette and Richard immediately had their first dance, “Just the Way You Are” by Billy Joel. Dinner was then served, and the Marston Pavilion did a bang-up job with the food.

The newly wedded Bermudezes cut the cake, and toasts were given by the best man and matron of honor. The best man had everyone in attendance cracking up with great stories about Richard. Afterwards, Colette’s dad had a dance with his daughter to “Butterfly Kisses” – stunningly sang by Mr. Simian Beaty, Colette’s Dad. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t get a little misty watching those two. Richard danced with his mom to “Forever Young” by Rod Stewart, and the Good Luck Dance was “Lead Me” by Sanctus Real. After that, it was a party until 1 a.m. We did the Cupid Shuffle, Cha Cha Slide, the Wobble, and even moved it like Bernie! The countdown at midnight was spectacular, bottles were popping, noisemakers were going, and of course I had to play “Auld Lang Syne.” We did plenty of Latin music for all the people in attendance from Miami, and some Miami-style house music as well. The last song of the night was by Rihanna and Calvin Harris, “We Found Love.” While everyone was fist-pumping and still partying it up, I saw Colette and Richard having a moment together on the floor, singing the lyrics to each other and kissing between the words. Those two had L-O-V-E written all over their faces, and I was happy to spend time with them on their special day.

But, I think the best moment was Monday afternoon. I got a text from Colette.

“Hey Vinny! Thanks for everything it was perfect :)

THAT is why I do this job.

Until next time!

Hilton’s employee Christmass Party 12/22/11 in New Bern

DJ Vinny G of DJ Profesionals and Video partied with the crew of the Hilton New Bern for the employee Christmas Party. The room was beautiful with decorations all over, especially with wreaths hanging from the ceiling. The employees of the Hilton certainly know how to get a party going! Of course, DJ Vinny G helped a little with that… Big songs of the night included The Wobble by VIC, Single Ladies by Beyonce ,and We found Love by Rihanna and Calvin Harris.

The chefs prepared a full spread and the food was excellent. The staff was extremely professional and was willing to do anything they could to help us out, including offering several times to help us out with set up and break down while they still had their own work to do. Thanks a million ladies and gentleman, you guys are fantastic.

Employee of the Year was awarded, as well as the state of the company update; door prizes were awarded, and Secret Santa was definitely in the building! A great time was had by all, and DJ Vinny G had a fantastic time rocking the party with all the favorite line dances, party music, and even some Christmas music.

We’d love to thank the Hilton for continuing to do business with us and for the referrals they’ve sent us. We’ve always liked doing business with them, and we look forward to some of the big plans on tap for 2012! A special thanks to Michael McMahon from DJ Vinny G, Sinatra rules!
