I took my first trip to The Outer Banks last summer and fell in love, so I was naturally stoked to get back there to shoot Mike and Jessica’s beautiful wedding! Our crew made a weekend out of it and we enjoyed every second!
The Whalehead Club in Corolla, NC made for a magnificent setting, as gorgeous sunshine soaked everyone during the ceremony, on the beach, and during a stunning sunset!
Mike, Jessica, and co. danced the night away as our own Brian McArtan made sure the music stayed live all night!

I can’t say I’ve had much more fun doing what I do than at Keith and Kristin’s wedding. From the get-go, it was a blast working with these two balls of energy.
From the moment I met Kristin, I knew she would be amazing to work with. I can’t say I was expecting the show Keith put on, though!
The day was filled with non-stops laughs served with a huge helping of love from both families.
Kudos to the amazing band, venue, and team of professionals who made this fantastic day possible! And, most importantly, congratulations to Keith and Kristin!
Anna Guilfoil and Ronald Torgeson were married July 3, 2010 at the Bela Luna Restaurant on North Topsail Island the day before the 4th of July. What an incredible spot to tie the knot for these two on such a beautiful day with the weather that was just perfect. The wedding ceremony service was held outside by the pool overlooking the Atlantic Ocean under a tent that made for a perfect outside ceremony setting. After the ceremony the reception followed outside with introductions, first dances, dinner and all traditional events that were very pleasant due to perfect July weather. Ray Baca Photography did an amazing job taking pictures and helping with the coordination of the events the entire day. The food was prepared and served by the staff at the Bella Luna Restaurant in which was fabulous I might add. The night just seemed to flow perfectly for these two that were finally officially husband and wife after being legally married for some time but needed a most memorable and enjoyable experience to remember! Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Ronald and Anna Torgeson. Thank you again for letting DJ Professionals and Video be a part of an incredible day.
We got to spend an afternoon getting to know DJ & Coretta before their wedding that weekend. What a fun couple! They were a pleasure to work with and their wedding was a BLAST!

What a gorgeous day for a wedding in historic downtown Wilmington! From start to finish, everything flowed together flawlessly for this laid back and easy to work with bride and groom! From the always entertaining sermon delivered by Father Bob at St. Mary’s to the sunshine-soaked reception at The Upper Room across the street, Keith and Rebecca’s wedding was an utter joy to be a part of!

I was fortunate enough to take part in Chris and Nancy’s wedding in April. This couple, this venue, their friends and family…it all added up to an amazing day that they will surely never forget!

It was a great day getting to know Chris and Nancy in the days leading up to their wedding. We were blessed with a fantastic spring day in downtown Wilmington to shoot on! We went all over the place and this couple’s love for each other was apparent at every twist and turn.

I don’t even know where to begin with these two. Seriously.
I’ve known these amazing newlyweds for a few years now and it was my pleasure and delight to take part in their special day. I didn’t realize that this was soon to become my favorite wedding ever! (Although, I should have, because they are both incredible folks!)
Lauren hand-designed everything. And when I say everything, I mean EV-RY-THANG! With their handprints all over the ceremony and reception, it’s no surprise that this day was full of love, joy, family, and lots of friends!

Katie Hillman and Stephen Chalk had a beautiful service and wedding on Saturday April 10, 2010 at the 1st United Methodist Church in Morehead City. The groom and groomsmen wore classic black tuxes and ties. The Bride had a beautiful white figure-flattering wedding dress complete with veil. The Bridesmaids wore full length blue strapless gowns.
After the double ring exchange the bridal party and guests moved to the Coral Bay Club, oceanfront at Atlantic Beach NC. The party got under a full swing with “Liquid Pleasure” and our old friend – lead singer David Patel. They rocked the house, and it looks like everyone had a fantastic time. We hope the video gives a little insight on what the night was like. Congratulation to Mr. & Mrs. Stephen Chalk!

Lindsay Johnson and Samuel Grady Orr were married on Saturday April 24, 2010 at the Monteray Shores Dock in Corolla, N.C. The Monteray Shores Dock with a gazebo at the end was a beautiful spot for Lindsay and Grady to tie the knot! It was a pleasure working with such a great laid back couple that I truly became to like very quickly. Resting neatly off the Outer Banks right on the Currituck Sound was their ceremony at the end of the dock. DJ Professionals and Video provided the beach ceremony battery driven system to do the ceremony while Matt Lusk and co-worker did the photography. The view of the sound with the tranquil waters and a soothing breeze made this wedding very enjoyable from start to finish.
After the ceremony, the party was moved over to the reception house over looking the Currituck Sound where we gathered for cocktail hr. George Wainwright with DJ Professionals and Video did the introductions for the wedding party. When the couple was introduced for the very first time as the new Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Grady Orr they came down from the top balcony to the area where the rest of the wedding party awaited and lit the place up! We quickly went into having dinner so that Lindsay and Grady could enjoy a fun filled night with family and friends and of course – lots of dancing!
After dinner, the couple was introduced out on the dance floor by the water over looking the Currituck sound for their first dance to “then” by Brad Paisley. As soon as the first dance was over we went ahead and did the father/daughter dance to “the way you look tonight” Joey McIntire. Nice Choice! The mother/son dance was then introduced for Grady and his mother Brenda Orr with “my wish” Rascall Flatts.
When the first dances were complete the guests and friends were ready to dance and the rest of the night went great. Thank you for letting us be a part of your special day!
